This Vegan Alfredo sauce is so good you'll wonder where it's been your whole life!

Equipment
- blender or food processor (I use a bullet)
Ingredients
- 2 cup raw cashews soak in pre-boiled water
- 1 cup cashew milk (unsweetened)
- 1 whole lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water, once boiled turn off the heat and place the cashews in the water
- Let the cashews sit in the water for 10 minutes
- Remove and drain cashews from the water
- Sit the cashews to the food processor or blender but don't blend them yet (I use a bullet)
- Slightly simmer the garlic on low heat to brown it
- Add all ingredients to the blender/processor
- Blend until mixture is smooth and creamy
- Store sauce in closed container in refrigerator
Notes
This Alfredo sauce is so versatile it can be added to any dish! If you add some tomatoes you can create a creamy marinara sauce. Add some spinach and create a yummy spinach dip! This sauce has endless possibilities.
